Now this is a pretty damn cool little article I found over at The Mary Sue, and has some familiar faces.
Such as this:
They have a lot more there, so go check it out.
This was a wonderful cosplayer who was waiting in line on Saturday during the Calgary Expo for her photo with Stan Lee. I love this particular Rogue costume because it’s one of the few jacket bodysuit costumes in superhero costumes that really works for me.
The other two are Firestar from Marvel, and Black Canary of DC, especially the outfit she had during her run with the Birds of Prey written by Gail Simone.
I saw the Avengers movie and it was SO GOOD. You have to go and see this! Right now!
I have NO idea how Joss Wheedon juggled that cast so that no one stepped on each others’ toes, but he did it!
Now, I could not get a documentary done up on my experiences at the Calgary Expo 2012, but I was able to cobble together enough photographs and the footage that I did shoot to make this awesome little video.
The main music that you hear is Coming Home by Kirby Krackle, who were there with their own booth to celebrate their third album, and I was fortunate enough to have a few words with them as well.
I hope that everyone enjoys this video, and much thanks, once more, to my fellow volunteers for the hard work, the con-gorts for their understanding and support of this convention, and the lead organizers who helped to put this thing together.
Here’s Linh, super excited to be at the Calgary Expo while dressing fabulously. It’s how I found her, by looking out for the best dressed lady in the crowd
Hey Linh! Remember that picture I told you about, the one about what a girl really wants? Well, here it is!
Hell, that’s what I want too. It’s a shame that my own TARDIS isn’t big enough to get into and fly through time and space.
