Why: I wanted to extrapolate and give more information on the downward spiral. This is part four of a series, each of which will go into more detail about the story Abuse Cycle. A plot has been added in an attempt to give some ideas on how TLoK’s plot might be saved to actually work next season. Author’s Note: After two weeks and several hours of editing, it’s finally here. I both like and dislike this chapter, I hope you enjoy it. It’s a long one, so get that popcorn and sit back a while. There is Old Lady!Azula, Zuko, Koh and the introduction to the spiritual side of Korra’s shortcomings as the Avatar. *looks at heart on the floor* Wow… so that hurt… hang on, I gotta duct tape this thing back together and put it back in my chest.
Good lord, I don’t think I’ve met anyone so socially inept as Desna, and I felt for the poor guy every step of the way, just as I felt for Sakari and her anger at a world that was so beyond anything she ever grew up with.
That unintentional meeting of everyone at the restaurant was so incredibly awkward, and just amazingly written. Poor Jinora… I feel that out of everyone, she’s going to get hurt the most if only because she’s older and she understands this better than Meelo and Ikki would.
Go to hell, Mako. Just go to hell… the only good part about his return was Lin calling him on his pompousness. She, at least, can see right through his shit.
And Bolin and Asami… gods, I feel for those two. Those two would treat Korra so much better than Mako… hell, they should all be together! KorBolinasami! Ship ahoy!

Missing the Point… by a god damned country mile!
My response to the ending of What Asami Saw…
I thought it was a reasonable response.
Sakari from oddlyending’s fic series Abuse Cycle. She’s supposed to be half Water Tribe and half Earth Kingdom.
In taking time to look this picture over, and give me another excuse to reblog it, the artist really captured a lot of what made Sakari, such as her struggles. Look at the intensity in her eyes which says she’s lived a lot.
Plus, look at her build. This is someone who is not well nourished, who has had to forego food time and time again.
And then there’s her hair. Obviously, someone who is homeless is not going to be able to grab a hot shower with lots of shampoo and conditioner or even have it cut evenly and consistently.
All in all, this is a fantastic piece of art, even if you took it out of context, that being an original character created for the Legend of Korra universe.
