is putting feminists out of jobs

Because I don’t think this is about a choice that traps  them.

Most of these yahoos are high achieving women , who have latched on to feminism as a way of ” winning”

I have the best sex life, job ( I’m paid to be me!!!) , friends, access, opportunities, blah blah blah

and that worked until about lets say 32 .

(to put this in my mean girl perspective for all of their young woman bull between 07-now. You with a preteen are actually one year younger or no more than 2 years older than Jessica Valenti whose actually 6-8 years older than me. So yes when FFF came out I was 22.)

All of them are there now , most of them older, and the glamorous life never happened Getting everything and teling everyone about it , didn’t bring all those nuts and bolts of life. 

And what is mothering but nuts and bolts every day day in and out ?

Their feminism was always a competition or ” SHOWDOWN”.

You can’t showdown a toddler.

You can’t showdown someone as a mom unless your other stuff is AMAZING. TO THEM!

Most of your mommy moments don’t have an audience.

And Michelle Obama had the biggest audience ( and is trending ahead of their patron saint Hilary ) and went

I am a MOM.

Michelle Obama knows that most folks are trying not to be homeless, the schools are in dissarray , money is strangulation tight. When she STARTS her speech like that 

and ends the way she did.

She’s sending an actual message, 

” We have done some amazing things, and we can do them again . But first let’s get back to the point where getting our children to adulthood isn’t a life ending struggle”

I don’t have to tell you this AT ALL., but shit is beyond real right now and all these women can show is how little they get that.

All they KNOW is competition.

And while Michelle Obama is trying to say to folks ” We can do this if you ELECT MY HUSBAND AND ME

( cause make no mistake that convention was as much about voting for Barack AND Michelle as it was Obama/Biden).

And if being a mom , a thing we all do is important enough for a Harvard Law/Princeton grad. If carrying yourself with deep knowledge that you are RESPONSIBLE to people, and that training up the people you made your own is the focus of your life and worthy?!?!

They have no jobs.

And I promise you they NEVER EVER forget that she as a ” black girl from the South Side” DIDN’T and most importantly WASN’T SUPPOSED to benefit form what their brand of feminism did. A Harvard Lawyer .. maybe but only if she waves the feminist flag and bows before them everyday.

Because if part of what makes someone an authority , is not just privilege, or nepotism , or maneuvering and power plays , but some kind of inbred .. THING, they have no authority.

As much as I don’t buy all of it as this political fairy tale.

Michelle Obama got where she was because she was smart, kind, focused,stern, willing to give up on having it all and when she finally went ” Oh well I may not get married” rather than hem and hay about her femininity , stood her ground and made a reported ladies man and star CHASE HER.

Only to fall not for his reputation but who he was even when he had NO MONEY and be ready to pick up and leave him right before he became the most powerful man in the world.

AND THEN

have an entire convention of the most brilliant, strategizing minds, stary celebrities and other pundits go

” She is everything !!” 

If she get’s that without them pointing out there is better EVEN IF THEY DON’T HAVE IT.

What is there point ?

Why on earth do you pay , unaffiliated, semi credential , professional scolds?

If one of the stars of  the political world just told you that you need to go talk to mom’s?

That’s why they sound like right wingers.

When it comes down to it, none of them wants to be on the unemployment line
